The Spellings Commission...What could it mean for Higher Education?
Many forums have been held and articles written on the Spellings Commission report. The Commission was formed in 2005, and was charged with forming a strategy for reforming higher education in the United States.The final report, released in September 2006, put emphasis on four areas: Access, affordability, the quality of instruction and accountability of higher education to its stakeholders.
